The Amsterdam Gay Sauna Scene - Where to Find Gay Saunas in Amsterdam
While originally a gay coffee shop and still very much gay friendly, The Otherside welcomes visitors of all types, provided they are open and welcoming to others. The dark wood and faux stone interior makes for a more upmarket, stylish atmosphere than most Amsterdam coffee shops — this place even comes with chandeliers. Seating is plentiful if a little cramped on busy days, so be prepared to sit shoulder-to-shoulder with the people at the next table. Tables are reserved for those buying their smoking products at the bar and there is no wi-fi, which has the benefit that people tend to stay off their phones here. Music at The Otherside tends towards the jazzy and soulful as opposed to rock or techno.
In a perfect world - and we're building toward it - those of us who live an alternative lifestyle wouldn't have to fight for equality, as it would be naturally imparted to all. Until that day comes though, we need to support our cause by showing off our rainbows and letting the world know that we're proud of who we are and we're getting stronger every day. Rainbow Depot delivers all of the great LGBT gear you need, from gay message t-shirts and apparel to jewelry and home accessories. We deliver an incredible selection at incredibly affordable prices, and back it up with the most customer-friendly service team in the business.
I am heading to Amsterdam in a week and my partner and I are looking for a nice gay coffeeshop and perhaps a chill gay bar. We are NOT into the leather scene and we are both in our mid 20's. Hi, I found myself in a coffee shop called The Otherside address: Reguliersdwarsstraat 6 , it's just off Leidsestraat near the Leidseplein. I'm not gay myself, but it's a comfortable coffee shop and I would go back there in the future. I guess pretty much the type of coffee shop you are looking for.
